The Financial Conduct Authority is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services. Use the following information to decide if our services are right for you.

Who are we

Alastair James Walker t/a Crystal Lease are Credit Brokers and not lenders offering you credit available through limited a number of lenders to assist you with your lease agreement. Our aim is to provide you with the most suitable and competitive finance products available at that point in time. We will receive financial remuneration which is pre-set and impact the amount payable by the customer.

Whose products do we offer

We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders who may be able to offer you finance facilities for your purchase. We only offer products for Personal Contract Hire only, this may not be the most suitable financial product for your circumstances and we would ask you to look at alternative funding methods available within the market place. If you would like a list of our lenders please advise.

Commission Disclosure

We will receive a commission payment from the finance or hire provider if you decide to enter into an agreement with them. The nature of this commission is as follows: we receive a fixed fee commission per finance agreement entered into.  The lenders we work with consider that the commission earned reflects the work carried out by us as the broker. This includes advertising the finance option, coordinating with the lender to arrange financing, and handling administrative tasks such as completing proposals, processing orders, and managing delivery, collection and any in life queries.. Commissions help cover these operational costs, allowing brokers to provide their services without direct fees to customers.  This will affect the amount you pay.

Which service will we provide you with

You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us for vehicle finance. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed. We have attached the advantages and disadvantages of the product type available to you.

What will you have to pay us directly for our services?

For regulated customers (private individuals, sole traders and partnerships with less than 4 partners), the following fees will be payable to Crystal Lease: NIL

Our Financial Conduct Authority Licence Number is 729540. Our permitted business is credit broking and we act as an intermediary to a panel of lenders.
We are a broker member of the (BVRLA) British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, our membership number is 2025.
We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the purposes of Data Protection, our registration number is Z8019080.

What to do if you have a complaint
